INTRODUCTION:

DIBHAPOXY- 460, high built DFT, two pack system, i.e. Resin and Hardener, mainly developed for its
versatile use as anti-corrosive coating in chemical Zones and coastal  area.

Since the hardener is incorporated into the coal -tar,   the coating results in simple two component
system & NO PRIMER IS REQUIRED during application. These two components are mixed before 
application  in  equal  proportion  by  volume. Therefore,  the process of weighting odd quantities of resin
and Hardener is eliminated.

CHARACTERSTICS OF THE COATING :

• Pot Life of  mix                          : 30 TO 50 minutes at  35`C temp.
   

• Viscosity of  mix                        : 2000-4000 CP (Very convenient for brush application)
   

• Coverage                                   : Mild Steel  3-4 Sqm/kg. With 200-250 Microns 2 coats
                                                    Concrete   2-3 Sqm/kg .With 225-250 Microns 2 coats.
   

• Coats recommended                  : Two coats at an interval of 24 hrs.between the coats.
   

• Curing                                       : Gets completely cured at room temp. within  5-7 days
   

•  Visual Appearance                    : On complete curing………… GLOSSY REDDISH  BLACK
   

• Shelf-life                                    : Min 12 mths.stored at cool and dry place
                                                    in sealed container

SURFACE PREPARATION :

For better adhesion it is essential to clean the surface on which DIBHAPOXY -450 is to be applied. To remove dust dirt or loose particle by emery paper, wire brush or  power  tools. To  get  optimum  performance surface must be dry, free from oil grease  and sufficiently roughened.

FIELD OF APPLICATION:

DIBHAPOXY-460, is two component, air drying solventless Epoxy based coating  being  extensively used in highly  corrosive Chemical  Industries to resist chemicals and corrosion and to prevent deterioration of both M S. & Concrete structures. In general practice solvent based paints characterized by properties such as low DFT and inhabitant porosity, whereas  DP-460 is  non-porous  and   have high resistance films. The system is specially formulated for the end users by eliminating of  weighting odd quantities by introducing two component system mixed   before application  in equal  proportions volume.

SPECIAL PRECAUTION:

Mix only required quantity of the material, which can be utilized within stipulated spot life for period  avoid solidification. Wash all tools and tackles with Industrial solvents immediately after application  is completed.
