“Figment- SPC” (Seals Pores of Concrete)

INTRODUCTION:

“Sealing the Pores of Concrete” plays a vital role in the Construction Industries not only to give Building better appearance but also to protect the same from rainwater in monsoon cum the extreme climate in our country.  If proper coating is not coated, involves recurring expenses of repairs as well as repainting of walls every Two to Three years.

Keeping in view, we have developed “Figment-SPC” [Seals Pores of Concrete], Flexible Emulsion Polymer with dry Powder loaded with basic fillers & extenders, air drying systems, specially formulated to fill cracks, voids, pin-holes and joints. The various applications in Construction Industry are given hereunder to Interior & Exterior walls. Moreover, it can be applied with brush and can also be directly applied by Putty knife. Being, water repellent properties it acts as Waterproofing, Anti-fungus to Exterior walls. And more often, even if applied inside the walls gives excellent properties to resist EFFLORESENCES / LATENCES cum CRACKING in WALLS.

 SAILENT FEATURES:

It chemically cures at  30⁰C and no additional curing method is required.  Being Water based, it can be applied on damp surfaces. It is odorless, non-flammable, non-toxic and even thinned & tools cleaned by tap water. Resistance to both hot and cold climates. Can be tinted to customer’s choice of Shade.

TYPICAL PROPERTIES:  

APPLICATION TO TREAT EFFLORESENCES/LATENCES:

Clean the surface with wire brush to remove effloresces and latencies. Wash the entire surface with water and wait till dried. Apply 2mm thick putty of DL-SPC and when dried, paint the surface.

10 Kgs Powder + 4 kg Polymer With the coverage of 50 sq.ft / 2.0 mm

FOR INTERNAL  PLASTERS WALLS APPLICATION:

FIGMENT-SPC is especially formulated with the properties like water retardant, additional bonding, plasticizer maintaining water ratio & pot life, hence gives waterproofing and no cracks observed if mixed applied on the plaster job.

Coverage :  Mix of 14.0 kgs gives 125-150 sq.ft per 1.0 mm

FOR EXTERIOR  CONCRETE APPLICATION

Apply One coat of the mix over Old / New Plaster, as cited below. On complete curing of

Primer,  two coats of desired paint to be applied with the interval of 10-12 hours.

10 Kgs Powder + 4 kg Polymer + 6 kgs Tap water

Coverage :  Mix of 20.0 kgs gives 750-800 sq.ft Single coat.

NOTE: For every application the POLYMER should be premixed with the desired tap water for best performance.
