“DUROCEMIX” is an modified Acrylic Polymer with
45% solids, Milky white Emulsion appearance with 9.0–9.5 pH,
specially formulated for the cementations motors for range of
applications in today’s Construction activities. Being acrylic
polymer, the desired properties for waterproofing, crack filling for
internal & external plasters, the ratio consumed is cited hereunder
:
FOR WATERPROOFING APPLICATION:
If the old slab to be treated, remove the old existing mixtures
treated over the RCC. Newly constructed building, surface to be
cleaned, washed with ample of water.
DUROCEMIX [1.00 ppv ]+ TAP WATER [1.00 ppv] + CEMENT [2.00 ppv]
[ 1.0 kg + 1.0 kg + 3.0 kg = 5 kgs --- 80.0 sq.ft /
2 coat ]
Two coats at the interval of 12
hours and later fill the water for 3-4 days for the complete curing
of mix. On complete curing, apply one coat of Water based epoxy over
the junction i.e.vata. On complete curing, brick bed
Kobe followed with IPS can be applied.
For DIRECT APPLICATIONS ON IPS :
Apply two coats of the mix over RCC, as cited above with the
interval of 10-12 hours, as desired coverage of mix.
1 ppv of
polymer : 1 ppv of Cement.
[ 1.0 kg + 1.5 = 2.5 kgs --- 20.0 sq.ft / 2 coat ]
FOR CRACK FILLING / TILES ADDISSIVE APPLICATION:
Generally, any cement mortar requires water curing. DUROCEMIX if
mixed with the white cement, silica sand and converted to thick
paste form. It can be consumed for the filling the external /
internal cracks. No additional water curing is desired, as the
polymer holds the water in the system sufficiently for cement
curing.
50 kgs.Cement + 50 kgs.Silica flour +10 kgs. Polymer + 10 kgs.Tap
water.
FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PLASTERS WALLS APPLICATION:
DUROCEMIX is especially formulated with the properties like water
retardant, additional bonding, plasticizer maintaining water ratio &
pot life, hence gives waterproofing and no cracks observed if mixed
during the plaster job.
2% - 5% of DUROCEMIX : 50 kg CEMENT BAG
ROTECTIVE
COATING TO REINFORCING MS RODS and Direct Coating :
The bars should be thoroughly roughened and made free of rust prior
to application. Apply first coat on both MS & Conctrete surface as
per the ratio cited above followed. While the top coat is still
tacky, rich motor plaster to be carried as desired.
Primer
: 1 ppv of polymer : 1 ppv of Cement. [ M.S.Rods ]
Motors
: 50 ppv of cement : 150 ppv of sand : 5 ppv of polymer + 20 ppv of
water.
FOR EXTERIOR CEMENT PAINT APPLICATION
:
The cement paint has certain disadvantages such as:
Being water absorbent the walls exposed to the rain in monsoon
season gets saturated and ultimately resulting fungus over the walls
and getting dampness interior. Invites special care during its
application by way of proper curing with water at least thrice. If
adequate curing is not done the paint shall not have proper bonding
with the surface. The main drawback of cement paint is that due to
extreme weather changes, it does not last more than two years. This
involves recurring expenses of repainting the building after every
two - three years.
DUROCEMIX,
being Acrylic Polymer :
Gives waterproofing effect and additional bonding properties. Water
ratio is maintain, hence gives good hiding effect as well as extends
the pot life of the mix.One time Curing process desiredTotal system
converts to water retardant and hence neither fungus formation
appears over the walls nor the dampness observed inside the walls.
DRY CEMENT PAINT [ 50 kgs ] + DUROCEMIX [5.0 Kgs] + TAP WATER
FOR EXTERIOR WHITE CEMENT APPLICATION
Apply One coat of the mix over Plaster, as cited below. On complete
curing of primer,
Two coats of desired paint to be applied with the interval of 10-12
hours.
DUROCEMIX [1.00 ppv ]+ TAP WATER [1.00 ppv] + CEMENT [2.00 ppv]
[ 1.0 kg + 1.0 kg + 3.0 kg = 5 kgs --- 125.0 sq.ft
/ coat ]
NOTE:
For every application the DUROCEMIX should be premixed with the
desired tap
water for best performance.
