DIBHAPOXY - 250
(For Waterproofing Application)

INTRODUCTION:

Since building construction activity has gained enormous uplift, it is known fact that the whole construction activity has been commercialized. Repercussion of which are drasting and uncontrollable One of these is “LEAKAGE” - infect it is a LEAK- AGE. To overcome leakage problems, many conventional methods are prevailing in the market, but these treatments have not proved to be result oriented due to which waterproofing still remains a “Pressing” problem.

DIBHAPOXY-250, an improved grade of Waterbased Epoxy, High solids two components Epoxy based [i.e. Resin & Hardener] air drying systems, specially formulated for various applications.

SALIENT FEATURES:

•  It is chemically cures at  30⁰C. And no additional curing method is required.

•  Being Waterbased Epoxy, it can be applied on Damp surfaces unlike pure Epoxy resins.

•  It is odorless, non-flammable, non-toxic enhance it can even be applied in potable water Tanks. 

PROMINENT TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:

FIELD OF APPLICATION:
APPLICATION ON NEWLY CASTED TOP SLAB:
Clean the slab with broom to remove loose sand particles/dust. Mix DP-250 Part “A” & Part “B” in equal
quantity by volume and coat it on the surface with smooth nylon brush giving a Dry Film. Thickness
between 125 - 150 microns. When the process of painting is in progress. Simultaneously, spread fine
mash sand on the coated surface. Next day, IPS or BrickBat Koba or fixing tiles can be carried out.

APPLICATION IN WATER TANKS / BIO GAS PLANTS:
Clean the inside surface, including bottom with wire brush and wash it with water. Apply first coat of DP-
250,Part “A” & Part “B” mixed in equal quantity by volume by smooth nylon brush. After 3 - 4 hrs., apply 1
mm thick putty with DIBHALITE - SLF to entire surface. Here the first coat shall give bonding to cement
surface and putty shall fill up the cracks / pin holes.   Fill water after 24 hrs.

APPLICATION ON PLYWOODS:
An ordinary plywood can be completely waterproof merely by applying one coat of DP-250.The thickness
size can be filled in and smoothened with putty DIBHALITE - SLF. This treatment will reduced the cost to
the tuned of just half against waterproof ply available in the market .

BONDING OLD TO NEW CONCRETE:
Just apply one coat of DP-250 and sprinkle fine mesh sand over it. New concrete surface can be laid when dried. The coat of DP-250 shall render excellent bonding of old to new surface.

APPLICATION ON FIXING MARBLE/GRANIE/FINE FINISH DECORATIVE STONE:
The Marble/Granite or other stones, conventionally, has been bonded with mere White cement. Of late, it
has been observed that the White cement peels off  in 2- 3 years time. To overcome this problem, we
recommend 1 coat DP-250 on back side of the marble of the granite sprinkled with sand and leave it to dry for 24 hrs. At room temp. This will render considerable rough surface and the treated marble/granite can be bonded with gray cement. This will provide an excellent bonding and durability.

APPLICATION ON OLD TERRACE:
(a) Open the visible cracks in “V” shape yo the tune 2-mm deep. Apply 1 coat of DP-250 Part “A” & Part “B” with the thin nylon brush. After 2 hrs. Fill the crack with DL-SLF. When putty drys, apply final coat of DP-250

(b) Moreover, on junction called VATA [i.e. between parapet wall and the slab], SUN SHEDS  and on COPPING of parapet wall, apply 3 coats as mentioned in  [a] as above.

PRECAUTION:
Mix only the required quantity of DP-250 and DL-SLF, which can be utilize within stipulated pot-life period to avoid solidification. Wash all tools and tackles with ample of water immediately after application is completed.
